Compliance with Laws and Regulations:

Marine Engineering Technology Ltd. is fully committed to compliance with the laws, rules and regulations of the countries in which it operates.

In addition we adhere to regulations and guidance relevant to both sector and industry in the design, operation or any such activity that recommended methods of best practice apply, this includes familiarity with various regulatory organisations, stipulations and/or literature, including but not limited to:

  • Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER)

  • Det Norske Veritas (DNV)

  • International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS)

MET Ltd. utilise the framework set out by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMECHE) in order to carry out its work and duties and ensure sustainable operations.     • Avoid deceptive acts and refrain from corrupt practices, including the rejection of bribery and record gifts or hospitality recieved

    • Comply with obligations for health and safety and environmental protection

    • Contribute to public discussion on engineering matters within our area of competence and in an objective, clear and truthful manner
